    • Older travelers

Downtown location, friendly and attentive staff, bar & restaurant facilities

Yes, I think the parking at $18.00 per day was over-priced

    • Single

Very convenient to all things downtown. I could walk to many different venues. There is street parking within two blocks of the hotel.

Parking in the ramp is too expensive.

    • Couple

      The proximity to Busch Stadium.

The long elevator wait, and the beds.

    • Group of friends

close to the reason we were there, Go St. Louis race.

      The staff were smartly dressed.

I had a very poor and unhappy experience with this hotel. Unbelievably, the line for check in stretched to outside the hotel and it took an hour to get to check in. Then, after the hour's wait in line, on attempting to check at at what was by now 6pm (3 hours after the advertised 3pm time of permissable check in) I (and all the other travellers checking in) were told that our rooms were still not yet ready! On asking why and how this could be the case at 6pm, we were told this was because the hotel had been full the night before! This and the unacceptable line for check in clearly indicate that this hotel cannot cope with being busy. The room itself was musty, damp and smelt, the airconditioning was noisy, the carpet was in poor condition and the toilet seat was damaged and the toilet stained. This was not a cheap hotel and it was disappointing that it has such poor standards and service; I wonder whether the Millennium chain management are aware of the difficulties and issues with their St Louis hotel?

    • Couple

The lobby was very nice, location and view were phenominal. The staff was pleasant.

Our room had mold on the ceiling, the carpet was coming unglued from the floor so was lumpy. The bathroom needed remodeling. The public area of the tower we were in was filthy. We learned that staying in the old tower was the mistake. However, they could not switch us to the new tower as the hotel was full. I would stay here again if I could be guaranteed the new tower - otherwise the price was ridiculous for the condition of the room and public areas.

    • Older travelers

Nice location close to alot of things to do in St.Louis

Ice and vending machines only on 2 floors of hotel sucked.

    • Family with children

The design is nice, but the rooms are small and unremarkable for the price. A Comfort Inn would have been as nice at half the price. I The location is very convenient to the downtown and Busch Stadium.

The parking is across in a parking structure which is not convenient. Getting checked in was frenzied, and trying to park long enough to check in, unload, and then have to move your car clear across the street was awkward.

    • Family with children

Location, Location, Location!! Oh, and great food and fantasic staff helped to round out an excellent stay!

I can not find a single negative thing to say about this hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much.

    • Couple

The bartender was awesome. Nice guy.

We called the hotel front desk to simply confirm our reservation for the night and were redirected to someone in charge of booking. This person was not able to confirm our reservation. We called again and were put on hold 3 times, and disconnected twice, we discovered that the one person at the front desk was "on break" and there wasn't even any hotel representative that could help us. After about 20 minutes of frustration, we called one last time finally someone told us straight up what we needed to know. Totally unnecessary. We were rolling into town late and found out that the kitchens for the restaurant, cafe, and the bar all closed at 10pm as well as the pool ( We were racing in form Tennessee and got there at 9:45 ). So that was a bummer, but not the end of the world. What topped things off though, was that across the street from the hotel, there is a parking ramp that says "Millennium Hotel Parking" that, we discovered, is most definitely not included in the already expensive cost of a room. At 7:00 the next morning we checked out at the front desk and asked for the parking voucher. She said there was none and that we had to "pay as we exit." It charged $18 dollars!! It's time increments were something like 20 minutes, 2 hours, and 12 hours. So, if you are planning on staying a few days, get ready to pay up the wazoo for parking. ( I know, I'm bitter and disappointed)

I didn't like very much about my stay at Millennium Hotel St. Louis.

I didn't like the parking situation which was inconvenient and an additional $18 each time you left the lot. I didn't like how small and run down the room was. I didn't like the inconvenience of buying from the vending machines.

    • Couple

      the location

The room was clean until I walked into my bathroom and it had water or something mysterious all over the floor. I called downstairs and They gave me another room. It was fine. However, I was very turned off by this experience!

    • Family with children

The pool was a good temperature, and the maintenance man in the basement was very helpful.

The service, (mainly the Front Desk attendant) was very rude and unhelpful. The price we paid for the room we got was way too high, and the parking was horrible!

    • Couple

the restaurant at last floor. That was amazing, We have had a brunch in this restaurant turning on itself

    • Single

The rooms were filthy and rundown.
